21-22 April -  17th Annual Registration of Agrochemicals in Europe conference takes place  in Brussels, Belgium. This event has become the number one source of practical information for regulatory affairs professionals in the agrochemical industry with over 170 delegates attending in 2009. Presentations on cut off criteria (with focus on endocrines), the zonal approach, comparative risk assessment, data protection, PPP authorisations and active substance renewal  will provide the information needed to ensure a smooth transition to the new regulation. 9-10 June - Cereals 2010 - This popular annual arable event incorporates Sprays & Sprayers and is organised by Haymarket Business Exhibitions in association with ADAS, the East of England Agricultural Society, Farmers Weekly, HGCA, Syngenta and Velcourt.  In 2010 Cereals  will be held at Vine Farm, Wendy near Royston, Cambridgeshire. Cereals is the leading technical event for the UK arable industry with over 64ha of stands and live demonstrations including Crop Plots, Working Cultivations, Sprays and Sprayers Arena, Post-Harvest Technology, Business Alley and Renewables.

25-26 October - The 5th Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM- Lucerne 2010) will be held at the Lucerne culture and Convention Centre (KKL), Lucerne, Switzerland. ABIM-Lucerne provides an annual meeting place specifically adaptedto the needs of the biocontrol inddustry. Facilities are available for stands, posters and private business discussions

26-27 October - 32nd Jornadas de Productos Fitosanitarios will be held  at the Museo de La Ciencia in Barcelona. It is organised by the Institut Quimic de Sarria in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, General Directorate  Agriculture, Spain, the  Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, Catalonia and the Spanish Plant Protection Association, AEPLA. This Spanish congress is held annually and has for over 30 years  brought together people and organisations working in plant health and plant protection

8-9 April - Regulation of Crop Protection Chemicals in the US - Informa LifeSciences in partnership with CropLife America have organised a new regulatory affairs conference in the US. The conference aims to update agrochemical professionals with the latest federal requirements and initiatives, and will provide information on novel approaches for conducting both human and environmental risk assessments. By working with CropLife America the organisers aim to bring together all the main stakeholders in order to provide an open forum where attendees will have access to key information and a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with key industry and government personnel in order to debate current issues. 19-21October - AgrochemEx is an annual agrochemical conference and exhibition organised by the China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA) in Nanjing, China. The 2007 event attracted 300 plus exhibitors and more than 12000 visitors from home and abroad. the concurrently held events such as the China Agrochemical Symposium, China International Forum on Procurement and Service of Crop Protection Products were attended by policy-makers, producers, R&D institutes and international trade.

20-21 October - the third Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM-Lucerne) , will take place in Lucerne, Switzerland .  It is organised by the International Biocontrol Industry Association (IBMA) in collaboration with the Swiss Research Institute for Organic Farming (FiBL) and sponsored by Marian Fischer Boel, European Commissioner for Agriculture, and the Swiss government. The meeting aims to provide a technical and business platform for people and organisations working on  the development of biological plant protection systems.

ABIM-Lucerne 08 will include the following topics:
